IEEE Seal of achievement of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers – Education Society, given to recognize Inmaculada Plaza for distinghished contributions and leadership in support of the Society´s Chapter. Her expertise and guidance have greatly facilitated our growth and development in the field of Engineering Education.

With this award, the association has highlighted the pioneer work of our research group in technology. It also points out our contribution to the research and the job creation in the future.
This award has been given by the association since 2001 to several people, institutions or association that in some way contribute to the Society in Teruel with new views and approaches, extending and spreading the knowledge about Teruel, its products, culture, heritage, etc.
In the past editions, the awarded institutions were for instance: Red Cross in Teruel, la Fundación Santa María de Albarracín, Dinópolis, ATADI, la Fundación Amantes de Teruel, Cáritas Diocesana de Teruel, A.C. Club Voleibol Teruel o la Unidad de Dolor del Hospital San Jorge.
This award is specially meaningful for us because it has been given by a local association in the contex of the main festivity of Teruel.

The Spanish Chapter of the IEEE Education Society has been awarded with the 2011 IEEE Education Society Chapter Achievement Award. The chairwoman of the chapter was Inmaculada Plaza. The award pointed out “In recognition of the Chapter as an inspiring model of technical activities, membership recruitment and services, and for outstanding leadership”.
This award is given by the IEEE Education Society at an international level. Jointly with our previous award of the IEEE Region 8 among all countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa, they have meant the maximum recognition of the Chapter at a international level.

The program NELA, developed by Enrique Matías under the supervision of Inmaculada Plaza, has obtained the “Special award for accesibility” in the VI Competition of University Free Software.
In addition, it was also awarded with the “Special award of the community” given to the best project. In this case and given the high quality of the software developed by the finalists, it was considered the completeness of the global project developed in the group EduQTech.

The Spanish Chapter of the IEEE Education Society whose chairwoman was Inmaculada Plaza has been awarded with the 2011 Best Large Chapter Award.
IEEE is the largest engineering association in the world, present in 160 countries. The award was given by the IEEE Region 8, which includes all the European countries, Middle East and Africa. More than 470 Chapters of the 38 IEEE Societies were eligible.

The 17th edition of the University Conference in Education Innovation for Technical Training (CUIEET) has awarded the paper presented by EduQTech, given the opportunity to be published in a journal.

The award of the Chair Santander Bank recognizes the activities to use ICT in teaching innovation. In 2009, the first secondary award (“accésit”) was given by the project: “Use of ICT through all the teaching-learning process. A global view”, led by Inmaculada Plaza.

The goal of the PIIDUZ program is to ‘promote the dissemination of experiences and learning activities of special quality, interest and relevance of our University, whose knowledge may serve as a reference for new projects and contribute to the emergence of new initiatives’.
Among all the candidate projects, ten of them were selected included this one from EduQTech. The projects were considered as ‘innovative experiences of special relevance and quality’.

The VIII edition of TAEE was held in Zaragoza. One of its goals is to promote and spread experiences of teachin innovation and discuss about problems related to teaching Electronics. It pointed out the paper “Teaching methods and European Higher Education Area”, presented by some members of EduQTech.

The aim of the Teaching Innovation awards is to promote the experiences that contribute to improve quality in teaching, by means of innovative activities that can be applied to the European Higher Education Area.
In the 2007 edition, the work entitled “Application of quality concepts in Engineering Technical Schools”, presented by EduQTech, was recognized with an honorable mention.
