Brief description:
Smartphones are powerful devices to support people in their daily life.
In this project, we have used the accelerometer readings to detect falls, sending alarms or calling caregivers after detection.
To analyse, optimize and test the algorithms we have collected acceleration values during activities of daily life (ADL) and simulated falls. The dataset is publicly available.
